I will stamp all over 'credible combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.

British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "overpower" the American as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.

Ex two-time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.

"I'm going to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my goal."

Civil Interaction

Despite those words, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Taking Aim at Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's present here," Joshua stated.

"I respect him for that."

Serious Opponent

Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's boxing ability.

"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mainly fought MMA fighters or declining opponents since becoming pro.

He lost to Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

However, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.

"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.

Size Difference

As the two fighters participated in the usual stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
